We've had a blast flying with the Lost Boys, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and battling swashbuckling pirates on Captain Hook's ship! Check out our DOCUMENTATION STATION page to see the story, challenge preview video, and slideshows FULL of photos from our two Peter Pan-inspired STEM challenges. Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping with our Sink the Ship Challenge today!
We are SO LUCKY here at STEMagination Station to have the support and participation of our school and district administrators! In the last couple of months, we have had visits from numerous district administrators who have rolled up their sleeves and enjoyed participating in our STEMagination Station challenges. THANK YOU for your continued support, and you are welcome ANY TIME! Check out our DOCUMENTATION STATION (photos/videos) page and look for shots of your engineers with these district leaders:

ONLY ONE SPOT IS LEFT! If you're ready to sail the high seas with Captain Hook, sign up and we'll see you soon! PETLAK SIGN UP: http://tiny.cc/zjonbx WEINSTEIN SIGN UP: http://tiny.cc/1tonbx COME DRESSED TO IMPRESS! MONDAY our STEM challenge is Peter Pan-themed. To show your spirit for this classic tale and get ready for the big challenge, we encourage your child to dress as their favorite character from Peter Pan (fairies, Peter Pan/lost boys, or Pirates) for added fun and a little touch of magic. Please send any costume elements in your child's backpack. We will allow them time to change into their Peter Pan gear before our STEM challenge. CHANGE STILL NEEDED: It's NOT TOO LATE to donate change to be used for our STEM challenge on Monday and then DONTATED to the Lincoln Park Zoo Gorilla Fund afterwards. Any spare changes helps! Dear STEMagination Station Parents, We are sailing the high seas with Captain Hook and need some "loot" to add to our treasure chests for our next STEM buddies challenge. We are teaming up with student council and the LPZ Gorilla money drive. Please send in ANY spare change (in coins) you have for your donations to save Bahati, the gorilla. On Monday, our classes will use the coins we collect for our challenge, and will turn in ALL change collected to the student council for the Lincoln Park Zoo fund!! Thanks for your cooperation and support, Mateys!! Mrs. Petlak & Miss Weinstein Once upon a time, in a place close to our hearts... Two friends combined their love of STEM and language arts. With a little bit of science, and a lotta bit of magic... POOF! The result is a story far from tragic. From princesses to physics, Evil Queens to engineering, Candy house chemistry, Pirate ships in need of steering. We open a book and then open our eyes to a world of imagination. Take a look, explore the wonder... of STEMagination Station! We hope you will enjoy this website as much as we enjoy our engineering endeavors with your little STEM geniuses! Peruse through project photos and videos, research supporting our passion for STEM in elementary education, teacher information, and donation sponsors. Check back weekly for updates and previews of upcoming STEM challenges. Let us know if you have any questions, raves, or requests!
